My mother and my sisters. My babysitter, Velma. My coaches, my professors, and my mentor.

Growing up isn't easy, but these women taught, challenged, and empowered me through it all. I am blessed to have had these positive female role models in my life. 

Girls Inc. does for girls what these women did for me. Over and above positive role models, when girls gain access to opportunities that engage, educate, and inspire, their lives are fuller, richer - and so is our community and our world.
